Transfer 14? What the heck......

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!  This last week was sick! Lots of super sick miracles happened!

Well first we went on exchanges with the Assistants! It was sooooooooo sick! We met tons of cool people!!!! We met this one guy Kasey and then had a lesson with him that night and he said he wants to be baptized! Soooooo sick! Lots of cool things happened.

Then in our area on Friday it was SO cold and we were walking in 10° weather with 40 mph wind lol but we pass this Mexican store and I said we had to go in and warm up so we did and we meet Angelica. She's so sick she met with missionaries in California and 5 of her friends got baptized. So she was accepting and wanted to learn. Coolest part about it is that her and her 7 yo daughter came to church! They're so AWESOME!

James is still getting baptized! Sooo that's gonna be gnarly! He's so sick! We can't wait for Saturday!

Wednesday is transfers and...............
I'm getting a new companion! I will find out who on Wednesday!

P.s. Marie went to the temple on saturday with the klinefelters!!!!!!! And they brought my tag with them for me to be there in spirit hahaha! She's so awesome!!!!!

Well I love yall sooooooooo much!!!!

Miracles and ?break-ups?

This week was awesome we had some really dope miracles come thru!

So Monday was sick we didn't have the car we were just out walking and knocking doors and it was SICK we found 3 new people who were interested and 3 more potential people who'd be interested. It was super cool! Lol we were on the phone and I saw this girl walking so I just walked up to her and she looked me in the eyes and said "I'm the smartest person in the world try me." That's my Elder Bischoff clean edit of her. So I said "haha okay let's runn it. What's your name?" Then at this point she started telling me about how God wiped her memory from before the age of 24 and how she's 2 revelations away from being translated and how her third eye has almost matched the energy of her heart hahahah. But I'll spare ya the details.

Tuesday was sick too. Lol literally...... I started feeling pretty rough but what ever I'll live...... but we just gave training's almost all day,at interviews with the zone. Then I got to talk to President McCustion and it was so awesome! I love him so much!

But were gonna skip over to Saturday where things got gnarly! We had a pizza party with a member and her granddaughter and it was so fun! Her granddaughter is not a member but while we were there she said she'd been thinking about it and accepted an invite to the baptism on the 9th of Feb! And that was so awesome! Later that night we had a lesson with this guy named James he's a 17 y.o. kid who has been coming to church with this girl in the ward and we'll she dumped him Friday but he still wants to meet with us and learn and grow and he actually wants to be baptized on the 26th!!!! We were way nervous on his intentions at first but home boy was so sincere! It was amazing! But yah, that's my week
I love y'all sooo much!

6 months left.... 😲😨😦

Omheck y'all. So not only did I hit my 18 month mark but I also hit my 6 month til home mark (their not exactly 2 years apart). It has been scary. Lots of thinking about how to make this 6 months better than anything else. And I got to talk to President about it and it is all about me. Like yeah, this 6 months will be serving others and serving God but it also needs to be about instilling the gospel into who I am!    So great!

Well I had a FIRE EMOJI week! It was sooooo good! We meet some amazing people and it's been great. We have a couple of people who could be baptized this month and lots next month and their all so excited for it! Also Marie from Manhattan is going to the temple soon so that'll be awesome! I'm SOOO EXCITED for it!

So this last week was great and all but no one showed up to church so that was a bummer. So we just went and grinded! And found some cool people! We met a super cool girl named Lillian and met with Sharon again! Then Monday since our P day was pushed back, we went out and worked all day and found 4 new people to teach! It was so tight!

We also got to go to Great Bend for exchanges and I got to go with Elder Terry. He's brand new to the Mission and I was his first exchange and it was a good one. We just talked all day about finding a family to teach and weren't gonna quit til we did and finally after 1000 no's and 7 hours we got to teach this family and it was amazing! Patience is a virtue and so is diligence! We also got to give the sisters blessings while we were there cuz they were sick. And I told the one sister I got to bless "your migraine will be gone in the morning" and so first thing in the morning I called and asked if it was there and she said nope not even a sign. Talk about power in the priesthood! It makes me wonder sometimes why my head always hurts but God heals everyone else! But what I do know is I am grateful for it and try and learn the blessing of it and understand that everyone had trials and it's not the trial that defines you it's the action taken towards it.
Well that's my rant! I love y'all so much!

Christmas Miracles are Fr Fr

Hey y'all!!!!!!!! Hope yall had the best of the best Christmas ever!!!! Crazy to think I have 0 more Christmases left on the Mish........ CRAZINESS! Y'ALL TIME FLIES TOO FAST! IT'S INSANE! I LOVE KANSAS SO MUCH!!

But this week was so awesome we saw lots of great miracles! I'll share with yall a couple!
1) So Thursday Elder Olsen is feeling really sick and just pushes through all day. Then we go to dinner and that just pushed him over the edge. So we just decide to go back home so he can chill and I was just gonna make some calls and set up the rest of our week. And after 3 calls I am talking to this member and she invites us over right then and there and has and friend there. So I called the other elders serving in the ward and asked to do a quick split and I went with this greenie over there and it was awesome. The member fed us dinner again and we talked to them a good bit then after we share a quick thought we set up a return appointment and get up to leave. But the whole time I feel like I know her friend from somewhere and as I'm walking out I ask her how the heck I know her. She said that she felt like she knew me too. Then we found out I actually taught her a couple of times in Junction when I was teaching her neighbors!!!!! Then we go back the next day and she asked to hear my individual conversion story and why I chose to be here. So we went by and I told her and after she asked "sooo what happiness does the church give you that the world cant?" So we taught her about the Holy Ghost and the peace of the Book of Mormon! She then said "what does it take for someone to be baptized?" So now she's preparing for baptism in Feb! Crazy crazy!!

2) So it's Sunday and Elder Olsen and I have hekka reports to do...... so we're doing them and the other elders are helping with this ward roster were trying to clean up. And after a while the other elders get ready to go they wanted to hit thier goals for the week. Then one of the elders get sick again and I offer to go out and work. So we get out there and the greenie said well I think we need to find 2 new people and get 2 people to start preparing for baptism. So we went and tried a potential and she wasn't there. So we prayed on where we needed to go. And was lead to here this block of houses and I offered a prayer for us and just said that God set these goals for us and we really need to see that hitting our goals are possible and that we can really be tools in His work. And then committed us to knock every house and invite everyone to listen and to be baptized and if we did we would find 2 people to teach and get 2 people to start to prepare for baptism. And we went out to work. And to keep it short we hit out goals. It was amazing! It was so cool to see what faith can do for you. We started not knowing for sure if yhe goals were really inspired but then we prayed and worked to make it happen and the fact it did happen means they were inspired. It was amazing!

Sorry this is so long....... (are you happy mom ðŸ˜‚😂) I love you all so much! Happy new year's stay safe! Oh and read the Book of Mormon :) if you don't have a copy I know 2 friends where you're at that'd love to bring you a copy for FREE lol!
