WHAT A WEEK!!!!!!

HEY Y'ALL!!!!!!
So this week was pretty interesting so go grab your popcorn I will wait a second......................... okay so well every Monday we do FHE (Family Home Evening) and so a lot of members of the branch go and have a little game night thing so we went and had some investigators there and that was a HOOT y'all let me tell you what! We played GIANT Jenga hahaha it was fun and our investigators had fun too! Then Tuesday we did a lot of walking around (Y'ALL we had to have walked 15-20 miles no joke) but it was so cool everyone we talked to was so nice and willing to chit chat at least! That was so awesome! We met a guy Shane and he is actually really good friends with some recent converts in the branch so that was pretty gnarly!!! Then Wednesday we did a lot of walking again but not as much luck hahaha but its okay we had a trunk or treat fundraiser for the cub scouts at the church so that was a blast! We had some investigators go to that and they seemed like they had a pretty dun time so that was cool! I mean lets be honest there was free candy how is that not just the time of your life?!?!?!?! Then Thursday we had some appointments and they all went super solid! We met with Shane again and we had his buddy come along with us! It was so cool we taught him the whole restoration! It was awesome. His whole previous knowledge of the church came from South Park and The Book of Mormon play so that was interesting! Then  Friday we went on day exchanges with the ward elders because one of them knew where some French people lived so I went with him for that and that was so cool! I knew a lot more then I thought I did haha it was way cool! We met so many cool non-French people too and a few of them came to church!!!! Also that night we had our Branches trunk or treat and we had a few investigators there too! it was so fun!!!! There was a chili cook off and YO some of them were two words...... 🔥(fire emoji)
Saturday we got a text from a member saying him and a ton of non member friends are playing football and they want us to come!!!!! Y'all FOOTBALL came in handy i'll tell ya what! Lol  we played on the military base with a ton of Army guys haha it was a freaking blast and we got to leave them with a lesson it went so good!!!!! Then on Sunday it was Stake Conference and that was so good!    Haha its always funny to look back at all the technical problems hahah we had a investigator at it and i can only imagine what was going thru her head... it was so embarrassing! It went from primary aged kids singing to Mo-tab back to the kids then to a pic of Jesus Christ then to a talk then back to Mo-tab then to the talk then the talk would be on like a 10 second loop. Haha it was like a remix! Hahaha could've thought my dad had his turn tables hooked up to it lol!

After church we went to go see this guy who was meeting with the sisters a good bit and he fell off the face of the earth when they left and so we tried stopping by one last time and he was there!!!!!! So awesome so were gonna meet with him again this week Im so stoked! Then as we were walking to our next appointment we were walking and this car is driving idk maybe 30-35 down the street then as it gets even to us it slams on its breaks and i was like oh shoot here we go hahah i just got caught in a drive by of course.... my luck..... but nope hahaha this guy hops out the car runs up to us and says "Hey are y'all LSD missionaries?" So i say "HaHa close were the LDS missionaries!" Then he said "oh shoot that's right haha well I met with some sisters before I moved and I'd really like to find the congregation out here! I really like y'alls church!" It was so cool so we talked to him for a little bit but he should be coming to FHE Monday!!!!!
Well that's it for this week I love yall!
Be safe!

Junction City!!!

Heyyyyyyy Yall! This week has been absolutely BaNaNaS!!!!!!  Monday and Tuesday was a whole ton of good byes! Because LaMont and I both left Bel Aire! So we had to go see people in the ward and our investigators to let them know hahaha!!!!! So that was hectic! But its all good! Now Im all settled in here in good ole Junction City!
So Junction City is a SMALL town (def not in Vegas any more) but its an army town! So the branch has super slow times and super busy times! But its good that means a lot more new faces! So when I got to Junction City i was told we don't have a car...... so we walk EVERYWHERE hahaha its so fun I love it! I get so much energy out and get to see a WHOLE lot more people that way!   So my first few days we've been introducing me to the ward and our people were teaching! THEIR AMAZING YALL! SO AWESOME!
On Friday, there was a baptism for a guy named Ramon! He will be in the ward but we invited some people to attend and so we were there waiting for people to show up and none of our peeps showed up for it so we couldn't be in there but its all G i got to meet him! He's SUCH an awesome guy totally gonna be a supah star!
Then when we were walking around everyone we met from AZ  tried to bash us hahaha it was funny. I was like "HAH that's cute... a bash..... ok if you really want to." Hahaha sooooo it was hilarious only people from AZ wanted to bash us. hahahaha.

Sunday was awesome! We have an investigator that wants to go to the earlier service so he can get to work on time so we got to go to 7 hours of church! But a family came to church and want to join and learn more about it! Yay how fun!!!!!!!!!!!  One of the wards was the primary program and that was amazing!!!!! Y'all go look up "Nephi's Courage" its so FIRE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 straight BARS!

It's really cool getting to see elder Bryan a good bit out here in Junction City! He is one of my homies from the MTC! Sorry for the short email this week has been a lot of adjusting and weird haha so Ill have more for ya next week!

Such a great week!

This week was awesome!!!!!! It FLEW BY!!!! First we helped with the African Refugee Family! Someone in the ward donated a bunk bed so we got to help pit it together! It was so cool to see their eyes light up! My job was to help keep the kids busy hahaha so we watched Jesus videos and sang primary songs! It was so cool!!!!! I love that family 💚!!! Tuesday after district meeting we come home and get lunch super quick but as were pulling up to our apartment we see these 2 guys moving so I hurry and jump out of the car to see if they need help and the one guy says oh sure we would love your help! He was absolutely wasted so now we really had to help! So elder LaMont and I hurry and bust out that move and take care of it fast! But as were moving things the drunk guy keeps asking if we've held the cross for a year...... i have 0 clue what that means but we proceed to tell him what we believe! It was so cool! When we were done moving the drunk guy (Wade) tells us were not allowed to leave until we talk Jesus with him and his friend Matt! So we go on to tell him about the restoration! It was so awesome wade couldn`t even tell up from down but Matt on the other hand had all his senses haha and he was super interested! It was such an awesome miracle to get to serve them and then share the gospel with them! On Friday we had to be out of our apartment at 9 because they were going to be treating our apartment for bed bugs! Halle-freaking-lujah took long enough hahaha but were finally bed bug free...... hopefully........ but of course  Thursday we had to give the car to another companionship so we had to walk to the church for studies and be on foot all day but its aight we lived hahaha its fun to walk because I get to talk to TONS OF PEOPLE!!!! So Ian has a tattoo he wants to get rid of so he can go to BYU and on a mission and not have to wear long sleeves! So he said during one of his treatments he was talking about the church and her husband is a member and she is not so he invited us to come along and watch the removal and talk to her about the church! It was so cool! But at the end she asked if i wanted to try it so OF COURSE I HAD TOO!!!! IT was gnarley! It didn't hurt crazy bad but i couldn't imagine 12 treatments of like an hour of that it would be so painful!!!! It was so cool hahah! Saturday we went on exchanges and that was cool! I was with Elder Welker! We stayed in their area and was with out a car! It was so much fun we met this guy Curtis and he is GOLDEN! He is starting his own biker "group" and now wants one of the requirements to get the lessons of the church taught to them hahaha! We drove around this super sketchy part of town and talked to all these people and as were walking we hear this guy scream "AHHHHH everybody hide!!!!!! The Jehovah's Witnesses are coming!!!!!" So by instinct I screamed back "NO EVERYBODY STAY CALM ITS OK WERE THE MORMONS!" Hahaha it was so funny i have no clue what made me yell that but it cracked me up so much I started literally rolling on the floor laughing haha.... yall pray for me haha. And to top it off it started down pouring on us as were walking across town haha it was so much fun!

So transfers are this week and I will be getting transferred! I cant believe I'm already leaving this area 😭😭😭 I love this place so much! But 1 area down so that's a mile stone haha!
I will be spending at least 6 weeks in Junction City in a Branch! I am so excited y'all!!!

This week....

Well this week was different hahahah! So we got inspected for bed bugs and they told us they weren't there..... like nah bruh we watched them! So we had the church guy come out to inspect and he found them in .02 seconds hahaha! Still haven't cured our apartment of those blood stealing demons! But its ok we evacuated that room! So they don't bother us hahaha. We met a new family and they are from Congo and they speak French so that's whats up! Its so tight to use the little French I have picked up to communicate with people! They are so awesome! They are really awesome people!!!! We were driving around and contacting our referrals and we see this guy doing all these ninja flips and stuff so I told Elder LaMont he needed to pull over so I could talk to him hahaha he's so funny! So we will totally go back and talk with him again! He was doing like back flips and torpedo twirls (what ever its called) and all these lit things hahaha!

We had the opportunity to do a lot of service this week! We helped with a move and she is moving back to Merrimack NH!!!! (We used to live there it was so cool!) They knew exactly where we used to live it was radical! We also helped start to organize a pantry for an elderly couple and y'all!!!!!!!!! I never knew a pantry could have that much food storage..... and be in such a clutter 😀 it was so fun to help though Elder LaMont and I always make things fun so it was hilarious! And also of course we went to the food bank! We go every week and its so much fun hahaha we always leave with a smile on our face!!!!!!! Sorry this week wasn't too interesting! I will make sure next week it is a lot better. Oh yah also we decided it would be fun to cook steaks with an iron so we totally did it! And I had a mango this week 😍😍😍😍 hahaha!

Oh boy this week was so funny looking back at it!

This week was so awesome! It started out with us goin over to that African Refugee Family and their actually from the Central Republic of Africa! We went over their and did a family home evening with them and they had their very first root beer floats! They loved them hahaha!!!! It was so cute to see them be so hesitant eating it hahaha it was awesome!!!!!! Then Tuesday we were walking home from Wichita State and we got lost in a cemetery lol how?!?!?! But the cemetery was lit if you were wondering!! Then we went back to that African Refugee Familys and studied some French with them! One of the little girls took my tablet and watched Jesus Videos the whole time we were there those kids are amazing!!! They love them some Jesus! They watched videos and had no idea what they were even saying cuz it was in English and used big words but they knew it was true and that Jesus is real! They were so excited to see Jesus pop up in the videos!!!! We also did exchanges this week and I was with Elder Smack! He's a rugby player from Idaho! He's a funny guy! We met some really funny people! Then we also got our car back that day! Halle-freaking-lujah!!!!!! That was such a blessing! Y'all it's so funny how much  Mormon "doctrine" we hear as missionaries hahaha y'all it's hilarious! Well Saturday was hilarious.... kind of.... Well I woke up to Elder LaMont yelling "Elder Bischoff I have really bad news for ya" and what went through my mind was oh snap dang it we can't go to the gym this morning we have a meeting! So I said "I know we can't go to the gym today" so he said "Elder Bischoff I have more bad news for you. Come look at this" I waddle out of bed and get over there and see something crawling on his bed...... and said oh snap it isn't.... and he looked at me and shook his head and said it is! So what it was a bed bug and yes I know I thought they were a myth too! Their not they were stealing my companions blood with out even asking! Boooooo! Like who do they think they are those little thieves! I can't believe their trying to suck blood from their creators messenger like really bruh stop stealing! So he started vacuuming the freak out of his mattress and box spring to try to get rid of those twerps! Then we call our housing people and they told us not to clean anything and let it stay infected! Like nahhhhhhh why that's gross!!!!! But that's protocol so we started taping the little jerks to the mattress and labeling them exhibit A and B and C hahaha! Then we cleared EVERYTHING that wasn't infected out of that room and moved into the living room!!! We evacuated that room quick!!!!! Then we did all of his laundry cuz that's all infested.... (probably not but at that moment everything was contaminated!) So our Saturday wasn't spent  all peaceful watching conference like it should've it was spent in a panic freaking out haha! Bed bugs are a big problem out here in the Kansas Wichita Mission for some reason! But that night ended really awesome with being able to watch the Priesthood session! It was incredible and very inspiring! Sunday was freaking incredible to watch conference at Ians! We all learned a lot! I really enjoyed having all them there and enjoyed every one of the talks very very awesome! So General Conference is a time where we get to hear from the Apostles and Prophet of the Church! It's a very awesome time and a lot of awesome talks are given! It was so sad to hear Elder Robert D Hales passed away (he was an apostle of the church) he definitely left a mark on the world and left it in good hands! He has a greater work to begin now! I love you all so much and thank you so much for all y'all do for me!

Love,
Elder Bischoff
