Lawrence Life

Hey yall sorry I've been MIA but life has been incredible! I have so many things to tell you!!! Well Lawrence is amazing honestly I love it here it's got such a different vibe than the rest of KS! I love being with Elder Whipple it's so fun! We're just constantly laughing and helpin someone! It's so funny!

Well the coolest thing that has happened since I've last put together an email is Kendra.

So Kendra is sick! It was a Wednesday and life was rough..... it was hot as heck outside and my head already was killing and it was just what I would call a grade A struggle bus (lol I don't think I've ever said that before idk why I said what I would call ðŸ˜‚😂😂) but it was a disaster well anyways we end up about 4 miles away from home and across campus and we just start knocking some doors and we see this door wide open and I was really hesitant to knock it but after about 20 min I acted in the prompting! I knocked and this GIANT PIT BULL runs out the door and I have enough time to offer up my last prayer before I enter the spirit world..... everything about me wanted to run but I was so scared I froze. And lo an behold out the back room this lady runs out and chills the dog out! And we start chatting a little bit and after a couple min of small talk she asks why were in Kansas and at her door and I looked her in the eyes and for the first time on my mission I said Kendra God sent us here.... and she broke down and said I know. Turns out  she was just in the back room praying asking God what she needed to do. Kendra 2 months ago was told by God to cut out all her addictions and prepare for a work He had for her. And now Kendra is preparing for baptism on the first of June the Lord sure is amazing.

Another amazing miracle is we have been able to achieve out goals the past few weeks even with school being out! The Lord definitely has His hand over KS that's for sure!

Lol just one last cool story haha
So it's Friday and my head killing and so is Elder Whipple and it's not just any headache it's one of those that it hurts to be alive kind of headaches but we still push through (honestly idk how but we did) and we decided to just go walk around the down town area and street contact people! As we're out an about I see this sky scraper of a man and made a joke that it was a KU bball player we've been dying to meet. But as I got closer I realized it was Joel Embiid (76ers starting Center who played for KU) it was so cool! We we hustle through those next 40 feet to go chat with him. It was so cool we got to have a decent conversation with him (and the crowd that gathered to see him)  but his mom wouldn't let us take pics so we just snagged a selfie lol.

Well the past couple weeks have been amazing! The Lord is providing! Transfers are next Wednesday so my next email will have those deets for ya!
