Being Persistent lets you get it BUT consistency is how you keep it

This week was nothing spectacular to sit and write about. BUT i say that loosely cuz lots of awesome things happened and I learned a lot of who I am and how I work...... but FIRST i gotta shout out Dad and Aubs for their birthday! Happy 25th birthday ðŸ˜‰ and 21st birthday.
But yah so I got to go on exchanges with one of my Zone Leaders Elder Jones and hes from Summerlin so that's pretty cool we know lots of mutual people.  But he taught me a lot about being a missionary and things like that. Hes a convert to the church of about 5 years and is super cool so he explained a lot of things from the person being taught side of the teaching. It was wayyyy cool i don't think he even realized how much it helped me hahaha. But that was awesome.
So this week has been pretty dang tough on my head and its been frustrating cuz all i wanna do is go out and work but my head makes me almost wanna be lazy so its frustrating. One day it was pretty darn ridiculous but i prayed and just said hey, so uh you know how bad my head hurts and you know im gonna go work regardless so please provide a miracle please please please. And we went to an appointment and it fell through but i knew we'd see a miracle if i just pushed through and the very first house we knocked in this neighborhood we found a family of 6 who all want to learn and their pretty interested and the dad is actually over the minister section of K State but is curious if we actually have the truth! So that was purty darn gnarly. But yah our Homies Kelsey and Ray are still wanting to get baptized we just have to help them figure out their Sunday work problem so they can come to church. But their on board. Their awesome I love them! But yah so the reason for my title is cuz that's something i've been working on is trying to make EVERY SINGLE SECOND of the day an opportunity to teach by the spirit or be taught by the spirit because times running out and quicker than i though i feel like im only 4 months out but im almost 13 months.... so I want to take advantage of the Spirit this strong while I can! So that explains that and since i've been trying this out we have seen some pretty gnarly results!

*funny story*
So on exchanges we go to teach this person and were having a pretty good lesson on his porch. Then his neighbor comes home and sees us their and I think "oh no this could be really bad or really good" and he pulls out a chair to his porch and listens to the convo about 20 yards away and i look up and he is taking his thumb and sliding it across his throat trying to scare us. Me and Elder Jones both realize and want to ask if that's a threat or a promise and we both get irritated but we don't say anythin, and he does it again...... so we decided to wrap up the lesson like an eggroll and just leave. And as we do the person were teaching says something to the guy and he just starts spitting out all this anti stuff at us and I just wanted to go put this man in his place but luckily the Spirit said don't waste the Lords time with him so we just walk away to get to our car about 3 blocks away. But as were half way there we laughing at the situation trying to bring the spirit back and we are walking down this alley way and we see the dude in his truck and he slams on his breaks and goes in reverse and then drives into the alley way so we just paid minimal attention to him trying to get him to leave us alone and all of a sudden he tries to hit us so we just walk over to this tree where he couldnt' and me fuming trying to stay calm just walks to the corner with Elder Jones and then we sprint to the car when were outta sight and drive off quick. It was so funny and so frustrating!

The reason i shared this is cuz y'all probably know how i would've reacted before my mission and now i had the patience to just walk away from the situation and leave it alone! Hahahaha well i love y'all to pieces!

Also a pic of the gnarly storm we had that was a funnel cloud forming!!!! And the other one is the cold front meeting the warmth!
