Transfer 15? ..... WiLd

Holy cow y'all. This is going way to fast. It's transfer week!  Holy cow I could've sworn we just starter last transfer.... wow... well this week was awesome! It was stake conference here in Salina! That's where we get to hear from some other leaders of the church! It was amazing! We got to meet Elder Craig from the General Authority 70's (for you that don't understand he's really cool!)

It was amazing! We got called up on the stand for it and had to give the stake our phone number to receive referrals and we did and we got 76 referrals for across the stake! It was so cool! Members are a HUGE part of this work! But we found some super solid and sweet people from using Instagram! It has been an amazing tool for us! 

We got another 7 inches of snow this weekend on top of the 7 from last weekend! It's been crazy cold! Well Kristi is doing awesome she has been taught almost everything and is living the commandments and STOKED FOR her baptism on the 23rd! We also had MLC this last week and had a blitz that's where a bunch of missionaries get together in 1 area and expect miracles! It was amazing after 1 hour of work we found 30 new people for them to teach and 22 committed to church and 9 to prepare for baptism in March! It was amazing! We also got to tour this Presbyterian church with their reverend! It was so cool some beautiful art work. But honestly I felt like I was in an art exhibit. But it was way cool to learn about.  But I love you all so much! Stay ballas!

Oh and I'm staying in Salina!!! Ü

Crazy Busy....

This week was crazy! We had interviews with President and that was awesomeness! We had a great chat about how much I've changed since day 1! But we also got to get trained by the APs and they talked to us and challenged us all to hit mission Standard this week! (Never happened in KWM history to have a whole zone hit it at 1 time!) So we all went and gave all we had and then some! It was amazing we had some crazy miracles happen! Through Instagram we found 3 new people to teach and got people to church because of it and even got someone to prepare to be baptized because of it! It was so cool! 

In Salina we even helped the people in Concordia hit standard it was amazing to watch the Lord make this happen! Well I know this one was quick but there wasn't anything that crazy that happened. But God provides and will do so as we put our faith in Him! I love y'all!

Lots to talk about Lotta that

So this was a dang good week! We had 4 friends come to church with us! We had a lot of stressful things happen haha we hadn't found all the people we were thinking we should and Sunday came around and we only had like 2 hours to find and literally we just needed 1 to hit our goal and we knocked 1 door and found someone it was so sweet!  

I got to go on exchanges with Elder Peterson (who I trained) and that was good! But I was on another exchange and the dude I was with was struggling with faith and he just kept saying we couldn't find anyone and I was like watch this! I closed my eyes and prayed and then said follow me...... and walked 2 blocks knocked a door and we found a family of 7 it was so sick! It was so fun!!!!! The spirit is legit yall! 
Then we met this sweet lady named Tiffany and she paid for our meal at Sams Club lol and then she said we can come talk to the family next week. So we messaged her and she said not this weekend cuz she had a party for her parents... BUT when we were knocking doors we knocked into her families party lol it was so sweet! God provides!!!

I might have been sick but we still baptized!

This week was SICK ! and I mean that literally and not that silly way of saying cool that the people now a days say..... Psh 

From Wednesday to Saturday I was out of commission in the apartment. It sucked... But it was cool so Tuesday we had Zone Conference it was sweet! We gave a couple if training's about following the spirit and applying what you learn! It was cool! 

But while I was in the apartment I still tried to use social media to our advantage and tried to find peeps to teach and we found this super cool girl who lives 70 miles away from the church building but still lives in ward boundaries. We got to teach her all about the apostasy and the restoration over Instagram hahahaha. Weird. 

But Saturday and Sunday were awesome. I still wasn't feeling good but I just said forget it I gotta go work. So I went out with Elder Cox cuz we had more teaching appointments than we could handle. We were walking around and we realize the night before they met this chick and she was super not solid but she said we could come back. So we did and OMGOSH! IT WAS GNARLY!!!! We went in and we talked with her and it was LEGENDARY! We get in there and they said she was high the night before so they didn't get to teach anything. I just felt really strong to teach the Word of Wisdom and the Law of Chastity (lol she didn't know about the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, or honestly anything fr fr about Jesus Christ) but I had an internal battle about if that's what we needed to teach. And finally the thought came in and it said well if you don't teach it now it'll probably be harder when you do actually teach it..... so we did haha and then she tells us all the reasons of why she couldn't live it and told us to go look at all then he alcohol on her fridge and so I walk over then he here and start dumping out all of it and she lost it haha she was happy you could tell but she was so shocked I did it. Then I stole her Cigars and she said she'd stop. It was awesome she's been sober since! 

The baptism was amazing! Gosh I love Hannah she's awesome! The spirit was so strong and her husband and 2 kids were there who aren't members and they really enjoyed it!

Church was great we had 7 of our friends come to church with us! The confirmation went well! And James Vasquez got the priesthood! Yay!!!! Then we had a linger longer after church and that was awesomeness! But about 45 min into it one of the people were teaching went to the bathroom and had a seizure  (she gets them when she's stressed and anxious) so that was scary but she's okay. Then we just went to the ER with her and a member to make sure she had someone there.  When she got out she messaged us saying how grateful she was for us and the church for being there with her and how excited she is to start her walk with Christ! It was a good ending to a scary story!

Exchanges MLC and baptisms oh my Ü

This week was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo busy! We started out with an exchange with the Hays Elders and it was great I went with Elder Davies and he's LEGIT! He's brand-new and he's a balla! He was in the middle of this bash and I just decided to wait a couple min to see how he did under pressure hahaha and he finally looked them in the eyes and said "look, you invited us in your home to hear our message you should let us talk to you...." it was so sick! Then we had a couple of lessons and they were BIG TIME! Some people who were wishy washy are now super solid! It was a LEGENDARY EXCHANGE!  

Then we had MLC on Thursday it was so good! We talked a lot about how to use the Spirit in the work and the Prophet Joseph Smith it was SOOOOO good! 

Friday when we got home this girl were teaching (Hannah) texted and asked if she could be baptized on the 9th! It was so DOPE! So we went over on Saturday and she passed her Baptismal interview! Y'all it's just been a dang good week! I love y'all!!!!

Miracles every day and BAPTISMS

Hey y'all!!!!!! This week was SICK! LITERALLY SOOOOOOO MANY MIRACLES HAPPENED!!!!!  Well first and foremost I got my new companion and his name is Elder Curtis. Sound familiar? Lol we served in Hutch together as companions!!! Crazy that was 9 months ago! Wack! But any way to say the least were STOKED!!!! 

Well on Thursday we met with this SUPER sick couple we met 1 time before and omheck it was sick! We answered so many questions they had! Were stoked for them they're sick!

Then Friday we were our walking around and through out the day we were asked to give 4 blessings it was soooooo dope but when we were asked to give the last two it was for this recent convert who's family were teaching and OMHeck it was sick we went over and ended up teaching about life after death and things and the spirit was SOOOOOOOOOO strong like I could've grabbed it! But she had her answer and she knows it's all true! Soooo sick! 

Then Saturday my boy James got baptized! It was so sick! I had the opportunity to do it and wow the spirit was soooooo strong! This next week is gonna be GNARLY!!!!!

Transfer 14? What the heck......

Hey y'all! Happy Monday!  This last week was sick! Lots of super sick miracles happened! 

Well first we went on exchanges with the Assistants! It was sooooooooo sick! We met tons of cool people!!!! We met this one guy Kasey and then had a lesson with him that night and he said he wants to be baptized! Soooooo sick! Lots of cool things happened.

Then in our area on Friday it was SO cold and we were walking in 10° weather with 40 mph wind lol but we pass this Mexican store and I said we had to go in and warm up so we did and we meet Angelica. She's so sick she met with missionaries in California and 5 of her friends got baptized. So she was accepting and wanted to learn. Coolest part about it is that her and her 7 yo daughter came to church! They're so AWESOME!

James is still getting baptized! Sooo that's gonna be gnarly! He's so sick! We can't wait for Saturday! 

Wednesday is transfers and............... 

I'm getting a new companion! I will find out who on Wednesday! 

P.s. Marie went to the temple on saturday with the klinefelters!!!!!!! And they brought my tag with them for me to be there in spirit hahaha! She's so awesome!!!!!
