A week to remember

Heyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!

So this week was a crazy one! So many funny things and miracles happened! 

Well to start off last Monday was crazy. So I don't remember seeing a horse ever in my life before or... at least this close...... well we were at a members house and they were takin care of their horses. So we went over to see if they needed any help. And they did......  I got to shove my arm down this things mouth..... it was so funny. 

This whole week we took some time to prepare for a zone blitz that was happening on Sat. What that means is all the missionaries from Harriman KS to Saint Marys KS (16 missionaries) went to Junction City. We all went there and ate island food made by a member. Then we broke up into different companionships and went and worked for 1 hour and tried to commit someone to baptism.... that night.... it was crazy. There were 5 people that could've been baptized that night but none of them chose to be. So what we did was invite them to the church and we had a testimony meeting. It was so powerful. I haven't felt the spirit that strong in a while. 

Lol, idk if y'all saw my instagram post but there was blizzard warnings and it was dumping snow. So they cancelled church.... all us missionaries were pretty sad... so we got permission to have our own little Sacrament meeting. And we did. We all walked about a mile to a mile and a half each way in the blizzard for the sacrament.  It was awesome.... one of the best church services of my life. I will NEVER forget it.

But honestly all week was filled with miracle after miracle!

Snow.... again... oh boy

So yes this week it snowed.... I was furious lol but that's okay. 

This week was over all a really good week! We met these really awesome girls from Paraguay! They were so funny. But when we knocked on the door they let us in and teach them. They LOVED THE IDEA OF THE BOOK OF MORMON. That was really cool! 

We had a lot of really good lessons. We taught Marie again she's awesome. I got a little bold with her this last time haha I said "Marie, we both know that you know the Book of Mormon is true and are just kind of scared to admit it because of what it means" and she agreed haha. But it was really awesome!

 We also met with Natalie and she's amazing she read Moroni 6 and loved it she annotated it and marked it all up and down haha. And on exchanged with Elder Jackson we helped ebony learn the importance of the Word of Wisdom! It was a really awesome exchange we went on! 

Over all this week was really awesome. ESPECIALLY because we got to go to the temple as an MLC it was amazing. I learned so much and had an amazing experience happen in the temple. I know we are all children of God and he really does want to speak to us! But that's the gist of my week! I love yall!!!!

Halloween, Transfers, friends, oh my

This week was pretty dope! We spent the whole first half of this week was spent with Elder Jones saying good byes...... so that was REALLY sad..... it was really cool to see how good of relationships you can build in such a short amount of time. It's so crazy! 

Then Wednesday came and I picked up my new companion in Wichita! It was awesome!!!! He's really a cool guy. He is from Syracuse Utah and loves to dirt bike and wake board. He just came here from 2 small towns in a row so it's a little bit of a shock. But it has been DANG cool! 

Lots of really awesome things have been happening. We got to hear from Jeffrey R Holland in our Area Conference! It was awesome! This week will be awesome we will be at the temple tomorrow with the mlc so that will be amazing!

Okay I will start with the TRANSFER NEWS! SOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I'm training a new Zone Leader named Elder Bringhurst. I'm really excited honestly. (Ill be staying in Manhattan!)

This week was super cool! I went on exchanges literally every other day this week! It was a dang good time. We found a SUPER cool girl named Ebony! She's amazing!!!! We knocked on her door and she let us in and we shared our message with her. She started crying and just said God told her just then she needs to come back to church. It was amazing. She came to stake conference and really enjoyed it! It was awesome! 

We also had a couple members give us some really dope referrals. It was just over all a REALLY GOOD WEEK! I got to go back to Junction again it was so fun. 

I got to have a really good convo with a missionary here and it was really awesome to have a heart to heart with him to help him out. 

Well y'all I will have some dang good stories I bet for yah next week. I love y'allll!!!

Hey y'all! What's crackalackin?

This week was GNARLY. So we had a really really really busy week. It was so fun! We had a movie night wit Marie and Natalie! We went to the Klinefelters and watched "The Restoration" it was sooooooooo good they really liked it. We had a lot of really good lessons and lots of good times. Saturday was cool. I got to go do service for some members in Junction that I haven't seen in a real long time! It was DANG fun. We also got to go to a baptism in Junction. Mare came with us. She really really liked it. She I'd so prepared for baptism she's just scared about what her family will think. It's really tough.

Sunday morning rolls around and Marie had to go to the Dr. and Natalie is out of town, and Angie won't wake up. It was so stressful on who we were gonna have join us at church....... then Rylee comes in. And then so do 5 strangers we have never met. It was a huge miracle. 5 people just waltzed right on in. It was so great! HUGE MIRACLE. Well yall I love you sooooooooo much! 

Even sickness won't stop the work

So this week was pretty lit. We started out with a good time at FHE with Marie and Rylee! HOMIES. It was fun though. We played Volleyball. Then that night E. Jones started not being able to hear and stuff... probs not healthy. Tuesday came around and we had Zone Conference and that was fun we gave a training about finding people and workin with the members... Jones was still pretty down and out.... so after Zone Conf we had to come home and he slept and started taking meds... Wednesday was a LONG day Jones was still sick and so I had to stay in the Apt all day.... I went to a members house with him real fast and made a really cute baptismal calendar! It was so fun. Then later that night I went out with Elder Heyden to do a lil work. Then Thursday I went on exchanges and took Elder Johnson out for a bit. We ha

d a lesson with Marie! She's the bomb. And I invited her to baptism and she accepted it. As long as she gets an answer to her prayer before the 28th she will be baptized that day. Yayayayayayay! Then I went out to work with Elder Martineau. He's so funny. He's a brand new missionary from Gilbert Az. Friday was cool the Junction City Boyz came up and let me work again cuz Jones was still sick.... we knocked a lot if doors and saw some pretty cool people! Saturday Jones was still sick poor guy...... so we stayed in most,the day and I did lots of Scripture study! Then Sunday was cool Angie and Marie both came!! It was cash! This week was DANGGGGGG fun it was good I got to work still or I woulda gone crazy hahaha. Well I love yall! 

 

MLC and a week of work

Hey Yall!! How are yah? This week was pretty dang good! Lots of good things happening here in Manhattan! 1st of all Angie (the k state goal keeper) is GOING to be baptized on October 28th!!! And Zach  will be baptized this month too he's finding a day that'll work with his CRAZY BUSY SCHEDULE!

This week was awesome! We went down to Wichita for MLC it was really awesome. Brother Littlefield came and he is amazing he gave the ZLS and stls lots of DANG good help!!!! It was cool! We met this super awesome chick! Her name is Katy! She's super nice, she is from Wichita but goin to K State.

 We had a whole bunch of members bring their friends to come play volleyball and then see what a church looks like and that went super good lots of people came!
I went on exchanges with Elder Wright! Hes so funny! He's from Idaho and loves playing football. Well that's most of this week! The rest of it was spent watching Conference! And wow that was amazing I learned lots and lots of good things!
