Transfers right around the corner

This week was crazy! So first we had a "philosophical debate" with this investigator and it was so good lol usually these turn out into blood baths but this was actually worth it! It was dope! We made them think so much about what we were saying and it was pretty cool! They at first were just there to bash with us but then by the end they softened their heart and want to learn more! That was pretty cool! Then we had the last district meeting of the transfer cuz the APs are doing the last one! But that was crazy that this transfer is so close to being over..... sad. 
We had to drop our 85 year old man named Aldin. He just kept trying to bash us and not learn what were trying to tell him. He also looked up some anti stuff and tried to use that against us but after we broke it and showed him where it's wrong he still chose to believe it..... it was sad! But Ryan is doing way good! He's such a good guy! He's so fun to have conversations with because he knows do much and is so serious about changing his life! So awesome! 

We also did a lot of finding this week too and got LOTS of doors slammed in our face it was actually pretty funny! I just kept laughing and laughing! We also had exchanges with the ZLs again and that was trash...... i got to sit in a mice infested apartment while babysitting a sick missionary. It was not the best part of my mission at all hahaha but we killed like 4 while i was there...... grodie right?!?! This upcoming week will be a whole lot more interesting for y'all sorry about this trash email! I love y'all so much!

With all these lessons i should be in school again

This week has been CRAZY! We had the chance to knock maybe 100 doors this week! Usually that's a daily routine! But this week was so different! I loved it! So we had appointments every single day and no time in between them! Its been so awesome! We were having a blast finding people to teach now were having a lot more fun actually teaching! So the people were working with are 

Donald: a 15 Y.O. kid who just wants to know whats true and where to be happy!

Tim: a 33 Y.O youth pastor who doesn't believe anything his church teaches but likes his pay check. 

Loyda: 65 y.o. shes so sweet she hated the thought of the Book of Mormon and now loves it and is curious on why every copy of the bible doesn't have it attached haha! 

Ryan: 33 y.o. guy wanting to know how to apply the knowledge he has learned! He us unlike any other investigator i've ever had! Crazy! Hes so cool! 

Aldin: 85 y.o. man wanting to know how to reach salvation. Hes stuck on 7 day worship and pre earth life. Its fun explaining that almost every time we see him.

John: 28 y.o. youth pastor trying to find out what we believe and why were so happy! 

That's just some of them for y'all! I love these people so much! This place is so awesome i love it here in KS. Also watch out for my boys in the sweet 16! 

We went on exchanges this week and i went with my ZL Elder Grandy and it was so gnarly! I learned so much and had a lit of fun running around like a chicken with our heads chopped off! 

Sorry this is so long! Funny story before i go. So there's this guy in the ward named Derroll and we have this ongoing prank with him where we drop off fruit to his house and leave or just put it in his house while were there and he doesn't notice hahaha its been hilarious like when we put a banana in his bed hahaha or stuff like that! Hes so confused on who's doing this haha and we just deny deny deny lol!

What a week..... like really to much to write

This week flew by holy freaking cow! Like every day feels so long as a missionary but the weeks feel soo short Good Guac! But this week has been spent with lots of door knocking and stuff! We knocked probably close to 400 doors this week and that's the most I've done so far on my mission! Its been crazy! We have been doing close to 10 hours of proselyting daily! The average is about 8 we decided we would work extra hard this week to see more miracles! It was a struggle bus at times but we persisted hahaha! And all that working led to lots of stories hahaha so i will share a couple with y'all! So one day were out knocking doors and i see this old lady sweeping her garage out and so i jog over there offering to help her out and she turns around and screams I swear if you come closer i will hit you with my broom so i stopped dead in my tracks haha!  She was so upset with me hahahaha! Another one is the numerous times when people say our religion doesn't match up with the Bible and i ask what in specific and they say well i cant think of any right now off the top of my head! Hahaha its because there isn't any! Or when we play basketball with all these kids and just dunk all over them cuz they wanna play on 9 foot rims haha so we just lay down the hammer on them! There were these 3 kids who challenged us while we were out knocking and they were so cocky about it so on the first play we let them score then steal it and score then all of a sudden i threw an ally oop to Elder Thompson and he threw down on them hahahah! Or when Mississippi started doing donuts and drifting in his riding lawn mower for us hahahahahaha!!! It was so funny! Another one is when a member dropped off some fruit to our porch and we felt bad taking it so we raced them home and dropped it off on his porch before he got there hahaha it was so funny-But a couple crazy stories too!
So during one of our lessons one of our investigators told us that he thought about committing suicide but then he remembered "his brothers" were coming tomorrow and couldn't let them down! He told us that we are his brothers! We are his best friends and we are pretty much the sons he wished he had! It was so crazy but it really made me realized that we do so much for people  that some people never get! 
Another one is when we felt like we weren't doing enough cuz we weren't seeing "success" as in like having people meet with us or even keeping return appointments or even lots of slammed doors we finally met a guy named Ryan and he is totally Golden he has been so prepared by the Lord for us to meet with him! It was incredible! We met with him Saturday and he came to church and loved it the next day! This week has been full of crazy stories! I love you all please stay safe!

Déjà huit mois! (Already 8 months)

This week was really tough for some parts and really really good for some parts! So in my new area we don't have very many super solid people so we have been finding people to teach like pretty much all day every day! And the theme of this week is we have found a super awesome family or person and then we would be invited back and we would have a super spiritual lesson and then when we leave they want us to come back and then when we go back they have gotten into anti and believe that more then what we say and wont let us even try to answer any question they have. So that was really frustrating and sad because I see how awesome this area is and also how hard Satan is working on it too! So obviously God has a huge miracle waiting for us! But now to the GOOD stuff of the week haha! So we met this guy who's about 85 years old and he is so awesome His name is Aldin hes a total homie! We met him knocking doors and he had a couple questions we answered for him and he has prayed to see if our answers are true and he knows they are! So we have an appointment again this week to answer and other questions he has! So awesome! We also met this guy named John Wilson and he is so cool he had never talked to Mormon missionaries before and he invited us in and we discussed our church and he wants to read the whole Book of Morn by our next appointment so we can discuss more in depth with him! How awesome! Oh hes a youth pastor at one of the churches up here and he really wants to know the truth! So cool! So we asked this member to tag along with us to a lesson and he comes and when he was there holy cow this man knew almost everything imaginable! Good Guac! Its so dope! He knew bible scriptures off the top of his head and had them memorized! He was so cool! That shocked us haha usually most members dont know their Bible as well as their Book of Mormon! Well do you remember my friend Mississippi? Well he had us over again this last week a couple of times and one time he just busted out into song and then another time he snapped a roosters neck hahaha what the heck....... 
Well the reason I am writing on Tues is cuz of Zone Conference so my BAD i totally forgot to tell yall last week! But it was really good! We talked a lot about the Book of Mormon and being a TRUE disciple of Christ! It was so awesome and spiritual! Well I love all of you and feel your prayers!

Good byes and Nice to meet yous!

This week was busy as freaking heck y'al! We had so much crap to do and so little time to do it!!! Well obviously this week was transfers and i got transfered to Hutch but ill start at the beginning of my week back in JC! So I had my last FHE! We played Apples to Apples! It was sad saying bye to a lot of great peeps! And yah Tuesday was filled with a lot of good byes! It was so hard to leave all those people I love! But aye its a G! In the church its always see ya laters so its okay! Then Wednesday came and i got sick of course the day of transfers and i need to drive 2.5 hours to Wichita! It was #strugglebus! But its okay i made it there. Alive too so thats a plus! Then when we got to Wichita we switched my luggage to another car and i said my good byes to Elder Peterson! And we dipped and dabbed outta there and headed to Hutchinson! Its roughly an hour from Wichita it is a small ish farm town haha! Its awesome i love it so far! All the members are super missionary minded and its so awesome they are fantastic! I love this place! Thursday we met this guy named Mississippi and hes so cool haha he is this 65 year old guy from Tupelo Mississippi so thats what be goes by hahah! He is so awesome he prayed during one of our lessons and thanked God for us meeting him and becoming bffs! He loves to fish and has been teaching us a lot of fishing tricks!! Its so cool! Haha then  Friday I had my first District meeting i was District Leader for and that was pretty cool! I liked it haha i just feel bad for people having to sit and listen to me hahaha. But later that day we were praying for a miracle and right at the end of the night we met this girl named Erika and she wants to meet with us and she has 3 daughters! Its so awesome she is so nice and sweet! We are really excited to start meeting with her! Then Saturday we met this kid Tyler and he said he wants to meet with us too and he was super solid! There's just a couple examples of some miracles we've seen so far! But Sunday we woke up to a terrible text one of our solid people texted saying they were never going to meet with us again and never to text or call again! Booooooooooooooooo! Its okay though God has a perfect plan! In this area we have a lot of people who like to bible bash us which ive gotten pretty good at but I've been trying to find a way to make it effective and not just win an argument..... so ive been asking very specific questions and things like that to make people start opening up to the answers we have for them! Its been working a lot better. They never invite us over to learn more but i know the Lord will send missionaries over again when they need to near it again and their heart will have been softened by then! I love yall!!! 42 Days just fly by

This week was so good! We had so much to do that we stayed so busy! It was a lotta fun! We started the week off with the Meet the Mormons Event and that was good we had a decent amount of people there. We met some people we didnt know yet so that was always good! Then Tuesday we had a couple of appointments and we had an appointment with Anya and that went so freaking fire! Shes planning on getting baptized March 10th!
 We had a lot of appointments Tuesday. Wednesday was good we had a couple appointments and when we were at dinner we finally got this girl to pray! She had gone about over a year without praying and finally she did! Shes so AWESOME!!!!!   Thursday was a super awesome day! Lol we were going into an appointment and as were walking in we hear this guy driving by scream "NOOOOOOOO! DONT LET THEM IN, DONT DO IT!!!!!!!! NOOOO" hahahah it was so funny i love when that stuff happens its so funny. But its so sad cuz only if they knew the blessings that come along with it..... oh well.  Friday we had exchanges and I went with Elder Johnson. We had a lotta fun!!! Hahaha we were out working and we saw this small park and we went and played on the teeter totter it was freaking gnarly! Then we went about our day and we had an appointment at the end of the night so we go to it. And next thing we know were in this good ole Southern Bible bash. Its kinda like in those old western movies and there in a stand off I felt like were in that part of the movie hahahaha. Bashes can be a lot of fun. The closest thing Ive had to a competition since ive been on my mission. We put up a real good fight with this pastor so i feel accomplished! 

Then Saturday we got to do a lot of service! We did our usual Sat service and also got to help with a move! So that was a blast! I love doing service its just freaking fun haha! Then Sunday we had a couple appointments haha and i also had a race haha! That was a lot of fun luckily I won haha! But then later that night we got invited over for dinner. This family wanted to feed us and they're Filipino and jt was so freaking legendary! 
We had Filipino good guac it was really good! 

This week was freaking dope! That's just a small gist of it Im sorry! I could write for days about what all we do and how dope it really is! So we found out about transfer news and I will be in Hutchinson! I am gonna be district leader. This will be a lot of fun! Im so excited for the new memories that will be made.

Over 7 Months now--

This week was really weird hahaha in a good way haha like it flew by but looking back on it it felt like forever but it was a lotta fun so thats wassup. We started the week off with Volleyball for pday as a zone and i loved it hahaha it was a blast to be able to do that again!!! Then we went to FHE and I gave a lesson on a talk called 100% Responsible! Then we played a game called 5 second rule! It was a lot of fun haha! That was most the day haha. Then Tuesday we saw a couple of investigators and saw how they were doing and did a lot of teaching! It was super fun. We also set up a free hot chocolate booth on 2 main roads and was handing out free hot cocoa to people and would teach them as they stopped by it was a lot of fun! Wednesday we had interviews with President and that was good! Then we had a couple of appointments and then had our branch missionary training.... and no branch missionaries showed up....  actually 1 did and he is moving this week soooo awk. 
 Thurs we had a couple more teaching appointments we taught Ryan that morning who's gonna be baptized in March and Bryan who we taught later that afternoon and he is waiting on a spiritual confirmation! Their both really awesome guys! We also went over to a recent converts house for a lesson and he freestyled for us haha it was lit! we also drove all around town looking for Elder Petersons wallet he lost! Then we found it..... under his study chair in the apartment lol. Friday we had exchanges and I went with Elder Riley who's from Phoenix AZ and has been out about 2.5 months now! So that was a lotta fun! We went to an investigators house and during the lesson she started balling her eyes out and said its time for her to make the switch in her life and she finally knows what it is! She is working on a couple of things right now and then will be ready to make her next steps! So awesome!!!! 
Saturday we got some finishing touches on for the Meet the Mormons event which is today actually! I cant wait to tell y'all about it! We also had a couple people who flaked on us so we spent a good bit of time finding new people to teach!
 Sunday was awesome we had an investigator sing during Sacrament meeting because 2 of his friends invited him to sing with him and y'all it was amazing!!!!!!! It was so good! Then in 2nd hour we had Ryan who's another one of our investigators teach the lesson haha it was cool! Then we also had a lesson with Dominiqe hes the one who sang during Sacrament meeting! It was awesome! We had a really fun week! I love y'all so much thanks for all the prayers and support and emails! Happy Valentine's day!
