Good byes and Nice to meet yous!

This week was busy as freaking heck y'al! We had so much crap to do and so little time to do it!!! Well obviously this week was transfers and i got transfered to Hutch but ill start at the beginning of my week back in JC! So I had my last FHE! We played Apples to Apples! It was sad saying bye to a lot of great peeps! And yah Tuesday was filled with a lot of good byes! It was so hard to leave all those people I love! But aye its a G! In the church its always see ya laters so its okay! Then Wednesday came and i got sick of course the day of transfers and i need to drive 2.5 hours to Wichita! It was #strugglebus! But its okay i made it there. Alive too so thats a plus! Then when we got to Wichita we switched my luggage to another car and i said my good byes to Elder Peterson! And we dipped and dabbed outta there and headed to Hutchinson! Its roughly an hour from Wichita it is a small ish farm town haha! Its awesome i love it so far! All the members are super missionary minded and its so awesome they are fantastic! I love this place! Thursday we met this guy named Mississippi and hes so cool haha he is this 65 year old guy from Tupelo Mississippi so thats what be goes by hahah! He is so awesome he prayed during one of our lessons and thanked God for us meeting him and becoming bffs! He loves to fish and has been teaching us a lot of fishing tricks!! Its so cool! Haha then  Friday I had my first District meeting i was District Leader for and that was pretty cool! I liked it haha i just feel bad for people having to sit and listen to me hahaha. But later that day we were praying for a miracle and right at the end of the night we met this girl named Erika and she wants to meet with us and she has 3 daughters! Its so awesome she is so nice and sweet! We are really excited to start meeting with her! Then Saturday we met this kid Tyler and he said he wants to meet with us too and he was super solid! There's just a couple examples of some miracles we've seen so far! But Sunday we woke up to a terrible text one of our solid people texted saying they were never going to meet with us again and never to text or call again! Booooooooooooooooo! Its okay though God has a perfect plan! In this area we have a lot of people who like to bible bash us which ive gotten pretty good at but I've been trying to find a way to make it effective and not just win an argument..... so ive been asking very specific questions and things like that to make people start opening up to the answers we have for them! Its been working a lot better. They never invite us over to learn more but i know the Lord will send missionaries over again when they need to near it again and their heart will have been softened by then! I love yall!!! 42 Days just fly by

This week was so good! We had so much to do that we stayed so busy! It was a lotta fun! We started the week off with the Meet the Mormons Event and that was good we had a decent amount of people there. We met some people we didnt know yet so that was always good! Then Tuesday we had a couple of appointments and we had an appointment with Anya and that went so freaking fire! Shes planning on getting baptized March 10th!
 We had a lot of appointments Tuesday. Wednesday was good we had a couple appointments and when we were at dinner we finally got this girl to pray! She had gone about over a year without praying and finally she did! Shes so AWESOME!!!!!   Thursday was a super awesome day! Lol we were going into an appointment and as were walking in we hear this guy driving by scream "NOOOOOOOO! DONT LET THEM IN, DONT DO IT!!!!!!!! NOOOO" hahahah it was so funny i love when that stuff happens its so funny. But its so sad cuz only if they knew the blessings that come along with it..... oh well.  Friday we had exchanges and I went with Elder Johnson. We had a lotta fun!!! Hahaha we were out working and we saw this small park and we went and played on the teeter totter it was freaking gnarly! Then we went about our day and we had an appointment at the end of the night so we go to it. And next thing we know were in this good ole Southern Bible bash. Its kinda like in those old western movies and there in a stand off I felt like were in that part of the movie hahahaha. Bashes can be a lot of fun. The closest thing Ive had to a competition since ive been on my mission. We put up a real good fight with this pastor so i feel accomplished! 

Then Saturday we got to do a lot of service! We did our usual Sat service and also got to help with a move! So that was a blast! I love doing service its just freaking fun haha! Then Sunday we had a couple appointments haha and i also had a race haha! That was a lot of fun luckily I won haha! But then later that night we got invited over for dinner. This family wanted to feed us and they're Filipino and jt was so freaking legendary! 
We had Filipino good guac it was really good! 

This week was freaking dope! That's just a small gist of it Im sorry! I could write for days about what all we do and how dope it really is! So we found out about transfer news and I will be in Hutchinson! I am gonna be district leader. This will be a lot of fun! Im so excited for the new memories that will be made.

Over 7 Months now--

This week was really weird hahaha in a good way haha like it flew by but looking back on it it felt like forever but it was a lotta fun so thats wassup. We started the week off with Volleyball for pday as a zone and i loved it hahaha it was a blast to be able to do that again!!! Then we went to FHE and I gave a lesson on a talk called 100% Responsible! Then we played a game called 5 second rule! It was a lot of fun haha! That was most the day haha. Then Tuesday we saw a couple of investigators and saw how they were doing and did a lot of teaching! It was super fun. We also set up a free hot chocolate booth on 2 main roads and was handing out free hot cocoa to people and would teach them as they stopped by it was a lot of fun! Wednesday we had interviews with President and that was good! Then we had a couple of appointments and then had our branch missionary training.... and no branch missionaries showed up....  actually 1 did and he is moving this week soooo awk. 
 Thurs we had a couple more teaching appointments we taught Ryan that morning who's gonna be baptized in March and Bryan who we taught later that afternoon and he is waiting on a spiritual confirmation! Their both really awesome guys! We also went over to a recent converts house for a lesson and he freestyled for us haha it was lit! we also drove all around town looking for Elder Petersons wallet he lost! Then we found it..... under his study chair in the apartment lol. Friday we had exchanges and I went with Elder Riley who's from Phoenix AZ and has been out about 2.5 months now! So that was a lotta fun! We went to an investigators house and during the lesson she started balling her eyes out and said its time for her to make the switch in her life and she finally knows what it is! She is working on a couple of things right now and then will be ready to make her next steps! So awesome!!!! 
Saturday we got some finishing touches on for the Meet the Mormons event which is today actually! I cant wait to tell y'all about it! We also had a couple people who flaked on us so we spent a good bit of time finding new people to teach!
 Sunday was awesome we had an investigator sing during Sacrament meeting because 2 of his friends invited him to sing with him and y'all it was amazing!!!!!!! It was so good! Then in 2nd hour we had Ryan who's another one of our investigators teach the lesson haha it was cool! Then we also had a lesson with Dominiqe hes the one who sang during Sacrament meeting! It was awesome! We had a really fun week! I love y'all so much thanks for all the prayers and support and emails! Happy Valentine's day!

Snow..... again...... really?!?

This week was a really good week! We had a lot of success talking to people and with our appointments! We started the week out at FHE at a members house with a friend of theirs and  we talked about the importance of the Book of Mormon! Then we played catchphrase! Yo it was so much fun! We have had a lot of fun spreading the word about the Meet the Mormons and talking to people all about that! Its all in the newspaper and in the radio! We have been doing a lot of door knocking and its been a lot of fun! We met a lot of cool people!!!! We met Wendy and she's from Jasper Alabama! How gnarly is that?!?!?!??! Freaking awesome we hit it off from the start and ir was really cool! We are gonna have a lesson this up coming week! We also had a lot of service to do this week! We dug a hole we also did a good bit of yard work and stuff!! And Sunday it decided to snow on us sooooo thats been a lot of "fun"! But that means I get to ice skate from place to place while were out walking again so thats a plus to all of it! We had a couple really awesome appointments! One was with Milly and we had Josh a member tag along and they both speak spanish so that was cool! Then we talked to her about the blessings of the Sabbath day and how important it is! Another one was with Bryan! We had a member tag along with him too! Its always a really awesome cool fun lesson when were with him cuz he always has questions for us or a lot of really cool answers to our questions! We have been having a lot of fun here in Junction City! We find ways to have a lot of success and have a lot of fun too! Thats the key im learning! Something really crazy happened lol yall are probs gonna think im wack but listen to this! So we were with an investigator and they asked us to bless their house and they asked if I would do that and of course I did and while doing it I told any bad spirit or any bad presence in the house to leave. And right after i said that i heard "ugh FINE" whispered in my ear and then felt wind blow by me.......... freaky stuff right!??!?!?! Super crazy story but shows how light and dark cant be in the room at the same time! Sorry this email was short but i love you all! Take care!!

Another week in Paradise 🌴

Welllllllll this weeek was......... EvEnTfUl to say the least. This week was a really great week! And even if it wasnt i totally would still say it was! Let me prove to you why it was! So Monday Elder Peterson gave a FIRE lesson and then we played UNO for FHE. Then we came home and had Elder Saari and a couple other Elders at the apartment to sleep over for Zone Conference the next day and wellllll that night was lit! Tuesday we were up bright and early and played bball with the APs (assistants to the president) then we came home and got ready for Zone Conference! That took all day long for that! Then right after Zone Conference we had a really solid lesson with Bryan! That was freaking gnarley! We talked to him about what it means to be baptized! Then we had exchanges with the APs that was alotta fun! I went out with AP Crane and he served here in JC so I got to see all of the people he taught and get our foot in the door! Then Wednesday we got this whole Meet the Mormons event happening! So what it is, is a Q&A with the mission President and his wife coming up from Wichita for that! Its going to be absolutely frickin fantastic!!!! Thursday we woke up and got a phone call from Milly and she invited us over for Lunch and she fed us Beef Liver!!!!! Yo it was FIRE!!!! 
Then after we got a spiritual prompting to go visit this family and we got to sit and talk with them and it was really awesome to do that! Friday is the day we got all the Flyers made for the Meet the Mormons thing!!!!!! It was really awesome to get that all squared away and get the ball Rollin!  Saturday was a very packed day! We woke up to a text asking if we could bury a Guinea pig......  i felt like i was a criminal and like trying to hide a crime or something hahaha im wack! But yah that was cool! Then I got to Skype Ms. Kay! Elder LaMont and I taught her back in Bel Aire and she just got baptized!!!! Shes so amazing! It was awesome then we went and did service in Chapman again! It was gnarly as usual! Then we got taken to Famous Daves for dinner that night and yo it was fuego!!!!!! So good! Then we had a bunch of investigators at ball that night too!! 
Then Sunday we had a good bit of investigators at church and that was awesome as usual! One of them taught the Gospel Principles class and it was awesome!!!! This week was really fun and we got a lot of stuff rolling!!!!!! I love yall so much!!!

Miracles on Miracles

Hello y'all whats cracka lackin?!?!?! This week was stupendous  sorry thats just not a word I use.... its almost like im just saying words i dont know the meaning to just to make me look smarter  sorry enough being wack. 

So this week started out with FHE playing catchphrase and that was super dope! I love that game hahahahah! Then Tuesday and Wednesday we did a lot of Finding and walking around it was a blast! We found and talked to a ton of amazing people. But Wednesday we taught Anya and D about the Restoration! They loved it and it was so awesome to see them and how they reacted towards it! They both said the spirit was there and they knew it. It was AWESOME! Then Thursday we had a lesson with Bryan again and it was good to get back into meeting with him again! Hes so awesome! He had so many awesome questions! Then Thursday we also had our Book of Mormon study group!!!! We had a lot of fun its going fairly good we are going to be getting more investigators there! Its gonna be awesome! Friday was awesome too we had a lesson with Odeal again and shes so funny she said she used our Plan of salvation pamphlet to teach her sunday school class last week and her "boss" told her she needs to teach the adults that lesson too cuz its so true! Lolol its great! We also met up with some people who stopped talking to us and they said we could come stop by again!!!! Its so awesome! Then Saturday we got to clean the church and then go do more service for that family! Then we had basketball and one guy who always comes invited his whole platoon out for it! It was so dope! We had close to 10 investigators actually show! It was so much fun!!!! Half way through we stepped out and taught and Investigator and he was telling us he knows the Book of Mormon is true and he loves it! It was so awesome!!!! So freaking cool! Then Sunday we had a ton of investigators show up for church it was awesome! We had the biggest miracle happen so we had this referral that we gave to the senior missionaries to go see cuz shes a single lady and she really liked what they said but wouldn't come to church! Then turns our D and Anya are her health care taker and brought her to church Sunday it was so awesome they loved it and said i cant wait for next week! It was so cool! So later Sunday  afternoon we got a referral after church to go see this guy named Ralph who is looking for a church and when we were out driving looking for places to knock we ended up right by his house and so we went and found it and he was outside and it was the perfect opportunity to ask if he needed any service or anything and introduce us. We asked him and he said. "STOP! DONT COME ANY CLOSER I DONT WANT TO BE CAUGHT ON FIRE!!!!" So we were like uuhhhhhhhhhhh well okay......... and awkwardly left hahaha. This week was awesome y'all i love y'all so much!

Training in Junction City

I know you are going to want a Bio of my new comp so ill give that first for yall. His name is Elder Peterson and he is from Henderson, Nevada and graduated from Foothill HS. He has been in the mission for 6 weeks before being with me. He likes the gym. He can take my sarcasm and sassiness most the time🏼..... but lastly He is awesome!
So this week..... wack! We were sooooooo all over the place and were so freaking busy and everything so please bare with me! 
So Monday we had FHE and we played spoons it was lit..... until I freaking lost i hated it hahaha I hate losing!!!! It was Elder Saaris last FHE in JC! Sad but it was good it was a lot of fun like usually! Tuesday was wack cuz we had to do a lot of last minute packing and goodbyes so Saari could be good for the morning. Then Wed morning we had to be out the house by 6AM so we could be in Wichita for a Training meeting. So i was in a meeting from 8:45-3!  It was BrUtAl!!!! All good I'll live! Then I drove back hahahha it was so fun to drive again!!!! But we had to drive 30 min past JC to give other elders some stuff then drive all the way back............ Talk about CRAZINESS!!!!! Then we had to make our 7PM correlation meeting hahaha needless to say Wed was very hectic!!! Then Thursday we got back to the daily routine and got a lot of stuff done! Same for Friday!   Saturday was fun we did service again for the Johnson family! I just love that family!!!!!!  Then Sunday  we had church and more appointments! We had almost 0 time to go knock doors or just go finding in general and knew we needed to so from 6:30-9  We went out and about knocking doors trying to find people. We worked our tails off and ended up finding 8 investigators it was so freaking awesome! God definitely will bless if we put forth the effort! 🤜🤛

So heres some miracles I saw from last transfer! 
Mildred (Milly): So we got a text one day from SLC and it was a referral for Mildered and she wanted a Finding Faith In Christ movie and until this point of my mission this was the 1st time I had seen those cards be used for its purpose. So we head over there and go knock on her door and give her the DVD along with the restoration movie. We then go ahead and gwt talking about who we are and what we represent and she cuts us off and says "I know who you are. I used to study with missionaries and take the lessons and go to church. I was learning so much I was going to be baptized." She then goes on to tell us about how 3 years ago she was meeting with missionaries and was gonna be baptized but was kicked out of her house because she was studying with the "Mormons" so she was forced to move in with her family in Indiana. She felt God needed her back in Kansas so she moved back! As she was moving here she couldnt remember the name of the Book or of our church so she couldnt come back but as she was moving she saw a Finding Faith In Christ card fall out of her stuff and called it! 

Odeal: One day we get a text from SLC and it was a referral for this lady named Odeal who had a copy of the Book of Mormon. She had called SLC and they mailed her a copy of the Book of Mormon instead of having missionaries get it to her. But she was reading it and wanted to know more so she got on Mormon.org and started talking about Adam and Eve with a rep and we got a text to go over there. So we go over there and get to teach her the restoration and what the Book of Mormon is. She tells us she knows 100% it is the "breath of God Himself" and teaches primary aged kids at her local church and lately has been using the Book of Mormon because it makes more sense!
